Enabling Flash for Firefox

Overview

If you're using the Firefox web browser, you might receive an error while attempting to use the Video Player. Check to ensure that the option for Adobe Flash to always be activated in enabled. Flash is required to use your Video Player. 

Resolution

To adjust the setting that enables Adobe Flash to run, follow these steps:

  1. Open a Firefox web browser window.
  1. Click the Tools menu.
  1. Select Add-ons from the drop-down list. 
  1. You'll land on the Add-ons page. From the menu on the left, select Plugins.
  1. From the list that displays, find Shockwave Flash and click the drop-down menu to its right. 
  1. Ensure that Always Activate is selected. If it is not, select it now.
  1. Close the dialog box and refresh your page.
